Tamsin Egerton (born 26 November 1988) is a British actress and model, born in Hampshire, England, best known for her roles of Chelsea Parker in the 2007 film St Trinian’s and Holly Goodfellow in Keeping Mum. In 2007, Egerton was voted tenth of the one hundred most beautiful faces in the world, by IndependentCritics.com.[1]

She most recently starred in the British comedy Keeping Mum (2005) as Holly Goodfellow, a critically-acclaimed role that sparked some controversy because Eggerton was filmed topless at age 16[2]. She later appeared as Sarah in Driving Lessons (2006). She was to appear as Katrina in Eragon, but the scenes which she featured in were removed from the final cut.[3]

Aishwarya asked to shed 6 kg for ‘Robot’ role

Robot director Shankar has asked Aishwarya Rai to shed 6 kg weight to be in shape for her role in the Sci-fi film that also stars Rajnikanth.

Brand Is ‘Too Sexy,’ Chief Says

Victoria’s Secret is trying to recalibrate. Fourth-quarter sales of fragrance and the collegiate-inspired Pink label grew, but sales of bras, panties and beauty products declined. Turney said the company will aim its marketing and merchandise at 26-year-olds, holding extensive focus groups and walking through malls with them. The company did similar research when it launched Pink, which has become a staple in dorm rooms.

Turney pointed to the company’s Super Bowl ad this year as an example of its new direction. The spot featured model Adriana Lima in a black lace tank top and undies seductively tossing a football as she lounged in a chair.

How utterly cool is Natalie Portman?

Natalie Portman may lose her noggin in “The Other Boleyn Girl,” but in real life the 26-year-old has a very good head on her shoulders. In fact, Portman’s doing such a bang-up job of handling international celebrity that it makes her underwear-eschewing, publicly-melting-down peers look even more ridiculous when they try to blame their foibles on the media or the paparazzi.

In an age of starlets gone wild — and the pursuit of same by the insatiable scandal-sheet press corps — Portman has risen to the top of her profession with smarts and class. Even if all of her film choices weren’t the greatest — anybody remember “Where the Heart Is”? — she’s hit upon a winning formula for playing the fame game, and her peers would do well to follow her lead.

Sophie Anderton may be turning her life around by getting engaged to her property developer boyfriend Ed Buxton.

Cheryl Cole’s Tweedy return

Cheryl Cole has reverted back to her maiden name.

The Girls Aloud beauty - who was left devastated by claims her soccer star husband Ashley cheated on her with several women - was met by a limousine driver holding a sign with her former surname, Tweedy, when she arrived at Los Angeles airport over the weekend.

Friends say it is the clearest indication yet that Cheryl has decided to end her 19-month marriage.

One said: “She’s always been proud to have the surname Cole as she thought it showed her dedication and loyalty to Ashley. Now she’s changed back to Tweedy, it shows she’s keen to regain her status as a single woman.”

The Girls Aloud star is said to be cultivating a more mature image ahead of launching a solo career when the girl group members go there separate ways and she recently gave away bags of old clothes that no longer fit her new image.

Ifans & Miller indulge in mid-air ‘action’

Sienna Miller and Rhys Ifans left fellow passengers amazed as they openly frolicked during their 12-hour flight home from the Oscars. The stunning actress and the Notting Hill star couldn’t keep their hands off each other from the moment they boarded a London-bound plane in Los Angeles.

An onlooker said, “They were cavorting for almost the entire flight. They kissed each other passionately, before stroking each other’s hair, nibbling, whispering and giggling with each other.”

During the flight, Ifans stripped off his shirt after spilling wine all over it. Fellow passengers claim their passion — part of which took place in Miller’s fully-reclined seat — was only interrupted when a flight attendant served them dinner.

The pop R&B singer told SOHH.com that she’s extra excited this round after putting an album without the direction of The Inc. head Irv Gotti. “I’m very excited about the album,” she said. “This is my first time kinda handling everything on my own.” Her new album, titled The Declaration, features Jermaine Dupri, Babyface, Pharrell, Robin Thicke and Bryan Michael Cox. Her first single and video is “The Way That I Love You” produced by L.T. Hutton.

Teen Terminator will be back

Sarah Connor Chronicles ends its strike-shortened first season Monday, March 3 with back-to-back episodes, but it will be back in the fall. In a season with more misses (Bionic Woman, Big Shots, Cane, etc.) than hits, the show is a bona fide contender. It has pulled down 24-size numbers in 24’s original time period, and like Arnold Schwarzenegger’s titular character in the original Terminator film, it will be back.

“I love the fact that I get to be very physical, and that they chose a girl to play this part,” Glau said. “I think that’s really exciting for girls, and a great role for an actress. As far as her personality goes — if you can call it personality — I love how open and how curious she is. That gives me a lot of opportunity, as an actress, to try different things and let her grow and change.”

Trailer trash: Rating the latest movie trailers

I’ve watched the “10,000 B.C.” trailer four times now and each time the damn thing has not managed to keep my attention.

I’m serious - every time those ginormous woolly mammoths (or whatever those building-sized beasts are supposed to be) start lumbering across the plain, threatening to crush Steven Strait, my eyes totally glaze over and the next thing I know, I’m thinking about grocery lists, tax write-offs and who to pick in that “American Idol” pool.

Yes, it would probably help if I liked such over-the-top spectacles … but, well - no.

‘Jumper’ fails on many levels

Incredibly predictable, I found myself bored watching “Jumper” in theaters. Perhaps if there were different main characters who gave something to the plot, I may have been more intrigued. Sometimes good actors overpower a bad movie.

In this situation, that was not the case. Furthermore, no nudity is shown in this film from either Christensen or Bilson. I believe if there were, both men and women might find their $9.50 well-spent. The other reason viewers might enjoy this film are those sci-fi fans out there. The premise is interesting and hasn’t already been attempted in any recent film.

The movie ends with too much of an opening for a sequel. I hope they decide to turn it into a television series and get better actors.
