Pretty Ricky is an American R&B Boy band originally made up of Diamond Blue Smith "Baby Blue", Spectacular Smith "Spectacular", Corey Mathis "Slick 'em" and Marcus Cooper "Pleasure P". Pleasure P was replaced by Christopher Myers "Ambition/4play". Lingerie "Manny Deanda" is now the new singer after the departure of Pleasure P who has gone solo. • Group member Spectacular was crowned the "King of Grind" by MTV after the premiere of his "Tipsy In Dis Club" YouTube video
• Pretty Ricky’s new self-titled CD will be released by Bluestar Entertainment International
• Future releases on Bluestar will include Jo'Hound and Butta Creame
• Pretty Ricky has previously had three top ten records with "Grind on Me," "Your Body" and "On the Hotline"
• Pretty Ricky's album, Late Night Special, was #1 on the Billboard charts for five consecutive weeks
• Diamond Blue's production company, Music Royale Productions, is responsible for the production of all Pretty Ricky records. Diamond Blue is a songwriter, producer and engineer
• Pretty Ricky were BMI Songwriters of the Year for two consecutive years for "Grind on Me," "Your Body," and "On the Hotline."
• Diamond Blue was mentored by the late Grammy Award winning songwriter Static Major and four-time Grammy Award winning engineer Alvin Speights.
• When former group member Pleasure parted company with Pretty Ricky he was still signed to Bluestar Entertainment International for the release of his first two singles, "Did You Wrong" and "Boyfriend #2." A week before Pleasure's solo debut, Bluestar leveraged the opportunity to get Pretty Ricky released from Atlantic records and gain other tangible assets such as publishing, monies, etc. in exchange for Atlantic Records’ rights to Pleasure.
• Bluestar and Pretty Ricky have formed a partnership with the Art Institute for an apprenticeship program called B.A.S.S. giving the Art Institute's top students a chance to gain real world experience in the entertainment industry
• Pretty Ricky is developing a women’s line of clothing called Pretty Clothing catered to their vast female demographic
