Biography
Early life
O'Neil was born near Sacramento, California, U.S. on Mather Air Force Base1. She is naturally brunette; hence the description on her official website World's Sexiest Brunette. She is 1.70 m or 5' 7" tall2. Her family moved several times and lived in Guam as well. Her father was a pilot1 in the Vietnam War. She is the second of three daughters. Her father is half French and half Irish and met O'Neil's mother in Vietnam. O'Neil divided her time in high-school between athletics and modeling1.
Career
O'Neil began her modeling career at age fifteen.1 She has appeared as a bikini and fitness model in numerous hotrod and dirtbike calendars and magazines3. She has posed nude for many Playboy Special Editions, Playboy videos, and has become a modern-day pin-up girl and glamour model.
O'Neil has also appeared in television commercials for MCI, Nike, Marriott Resorts3 , FX Channel, Heineken, Virgin Cola, Mercedes-Benz, Vonage4 as well as print ads and/or articles for the likes of Sony, Coors Light and Ironman Magazine5 amongst others. O'Neil plays the ditzy blonde who wants to swim with the sharks in the Vonage commercial that began airing in September 2006.
She gained widespread popularity on the Internet after appearing on Lisa Boyle's website6, Foxes, Mystique Magazine, and on BlueNudes where she appeared in artistic nudes taken by photographer Tom Ruddock7. Linda still maintains her modeling career, but has become increasingly selective about the work she takes on.
From 1998 until 2007 Linda produced an Official website with a member's only section. As of August 2009 her new website was launched at LindaO'neil.com where she is taking a poll to see if there is any interest in her bringing back her member's section.
