Early life
Kelly Osbourne was born in the City of Westminster, London, the middle child of Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne, the others being her older sister Aimee and her younger brother Jack. She also has two half-siblings: Jessica Hobbs and Louis John Osbourne from Ozzy's first marriage. She also had an unofficially "adopted" brother, Robert Marcato, who Sharon and Ozzy adopted after Marcato's mother died. Kelly grew up traveling with her father as he went on tour, and lived in more than 20 homes.2

Kelly Osbourne and the rest of her immediate family (without Aimee) were thrust into the international spotlight with the MTV reality show The Osbournes. It chronicled their day-to-day life, and the show became a runaway hit for its portrayal of a dysfunctional, though close-knit, family where metal music, profanity and other harshness were a daily part of life. Kelly, the middle child, emerged (according to Rolling Stone) as "a wickedly funny, brutally honest, pint-size, potty-mouthed spitfire."3
Career
Music career
Her debut album, Shut Up!, was released in 2002 to moderate sales, fueled mostly by a cover version of the hit Madonna song "Papa Don't Preach", which was debuted with Houston rock band Pure Rubbish at the 2002 MTV Movie Awards.4 Osbourne's 2002 debut with Epic Records, "Shut Up!", debuted at #1 on Billboard's Heatseekers chart. The album was met with bad critical reviews and, by May 2003, Osbourne had been dropped from Epic Records. However, by autumn she had resurfaced on the Sanctuary label, later recording a duet of "Changes" (a Black Sabbath song) with her father. The duet hit #1 on the UK charts, a first for both father of the Billboard charts to top all three dance surveys in the same week.5 However, the album was not without controversy, due to its reportedly heavily-altered album cover, in which Osbourne appeared slimmer,6 despite her previous assertions of being happy with her size.citation needed
During an interview in late 2005, Osbourne denied reports she was ending her music career, saying: "I don't know where the quit rumours came from - I've just recorded a version of "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" with Cyndi Lauper".7
Kelly was forced to back out of her final performance in West End musical Chicago after the 31 October 2007 incident that injured her back.
Kelly is rumored to have been writing for her 3rd album, a follow up to 2005's Sleeping in the Nothing. In an interview she gave last year she was hoping to have the album out by the end of 2008 at the earliest, after she finished working on Chicago. Her album will be released by Sanctuary Records, the record label which also released Sleeping in the Nothing.
Acting
Osbourne made her debut as an actress with a starring role on 7 October 2004 on the ABC high school teen drama Life As We Know It, where she played the supporting role of Deborah Beatrice Tynan. In June 2006, Osbourne played the role of Wendy from Peter Pan in The Queen's Handbag. In 2006, Osbourne provided a voice for the animated film Live Freaky Die Freaky. In July 2007, it was announced Osbourne was to take on the role of prison matron Mama Morton in the musical drama Chicago.8 Her seven-week run (from 10 September) in the musical at the Cambridge Theatre would be her stage debut, London's The Stage performing arts weekly reported.9She won the Glamour Award for Theatre Actress of the Year.citation needed
In 2008 she features in the short musical film 'The Town that Boars Me' by photographer Ben Charles Edwards. The film also features Sadie Frost Jodie Harsh, Sophie Ellis-Bextor and Zandra Rhodes amongst others. The film is set to debut in late summer at the Portobello Film Festival 1011.
Presenting
Since her rise to fame, Osbourne has been called on to present for various events. Osbourne co-hosted the 2006 edition of I'm a Celebrity... Get Me out of Here! Now, a spin-off show of the main ITV1 programme. She hosted alongside Jeff Brazier in Australia, and Mark Durden-Smith in the London studio. Her one-off gigs include the 2002 MTV Movie Awards, Top of the pops Saturday, MTV's Isle of MTV, MTV UK and Ireland's red carpet coverage of the 2003 MTV Europe Music Awards, Popworld, The Friday Night Project, the 2005 MTV Australia Video Music Awards and Zane Lowe's BBC Radio 1 show. In spring 2006 Osbourne was one of the judges on Making Your Mind Up.
Kelly recently presented ITV2's coverage of the National Television Awards with her brother Jack, and a documentary on Japanese pop culture called Kelly Osbourne: Turning Japanese for the same network.12
In January 2007, Osbourne began presenting Project Catwalk for Sky1. In Autumn 2007, Osbourne signed to BBC Radio 1 to host the Sunday night show, Radio 1's The Surgery, and on 7 October 2007 she went on air for the first time with the issue of self harm. - From October 2008, for two and a half months, Osbourne will be taking a break from presenting The Surgery, whilst she presents a weekly television variety show in Los Angeles, with the rest of her family. She will return to the show in early 2009 and whilst she is away, Aled Haydn Jones, one of Chris Moyles producers and a regular stand in host while Kelly is away, will be presenting the show. In spring 2008, she began contributing a teenage advice column to the tabloid newspaper The Sun, "Kelly Confidential", where she is billed as the teen trouble shooter.
Fashion
After her appearance on the reality show, Osbourne quickly began to be noted for her varied and trendy style among fashion commentators like Steven Cojocaru1314 In 2004, Osbourne launched her own fashion line, Stiletto Killers,15 with friend Ali Barone. Stiletto Killers was a rock-inspired line of tees, knickers, hoodies, and sweatpants designed by Osbourne and Barone, emblazoned with cartoonish designs and punk rock phrases. There was also a more sophisticated couture branch, The SK Collection. Stiletto Killers closed in April 2006 and Barone has since launched a line called Lipstick Prophets.
In 2006, Osbourne became the face of the high street chain Accessorize in a campaign which was seen across Europe, Canada, Russia, Australia, Brazil, South Africa and the Middle East. In the spring of that year, Osbourne modelled for Heatherette in a catwalk show which also featured Naomi Campbell.

Kelly sports many tattoos all over her body, including a skull-and-crossbones design on both feet, small angel wings on her back, an outlined star on the back of her neck, a tiny pink heart on her hip, a ship's anchor on the back of her left forearm, a tiny pink heart on her little finger (the same as ex-boyfriend Bert McCracken), a padlock and key with the word "Daddy" above it, a musical keyboard on the back of her right forearm, and the name of her brother, Jack, on her wrist.a[›]
Beginning in 2002, Kelly began publicly making disparaging remarks about pop singer Christina Aguilera,3 and, on one episode of The Osbournes, mimicked Aguilera's "overexaggerated" vocals.citation needed Osbourne even got into a fight with her brother Jack for speaking to Aguilera at a club. Things came to a boiling point at the 2003 MTV Europe Awards,16 which were hosted by Aguilera. Osbourne called Aguilera a "fat cow" on the red carpet.citation needed For the first time publicly, Aguilera responded in a pre-taped skit used as the introduction to the program: Aguilera was seen throwing darts at a poster of Osbourne. Osbourne, retaliated while presenting an award, commenting that she felt honored to have Aguilera sink so low after all she has achieved, and was booed by the audience.citation needed It's still unknown why Osbourne developed animosity for the singer. Aguilera later called Osbourne "a little girl who can't handle a rebuttal".cite this quote On a 2007 episode of the talk show Ellen, Sharon Osbourne confirmed, that Aguilera—ironically—had bought The Osbourne's LA mansion, and described her as "lovely Christina".citation needed
On April 2, 2004, Osbourne entered the Malibu rehab facility Promises after admitting to family that she was addicted to painkillers.17 Over a year later, on June 2, she checked into Las Encinas Hospital, a drug treatment center in Pasadena, California after a relapse.18
In September 2006, at the Electric Picnic festival in Ireland, Kelly and her boyfriend, Matty Derham of the band Fields, held a wedding ceremony in the on-site inflatable church and days later were spotted buying gold bands.citation needed Her representative denied that the ceremony was legally binding, as it did not meet Irish legal requirements.citation needed
At an HIV charity benefit in February 2007, Kelly revealed that the event was special to her because one of her family members was HIV positive; she didn't specify whom.19 It was later revealed that it is her cousin Terry Longden, from the reality series The Salon. Longden had been present at the event.20
On November 19th 2008, Kelly announced that she was engaged to 18 year old Model, Luke Worrell.
