Emina Cunmulaj (born September 12, 1984) is an Montenegrin-American model of Albanian ancestry.
Biography
Cunmulaj was born in Michigan, United States to Albanian parents, but moved to Montenegro, then part of Yugoslavia, at age of four in 1988.1 Cunmulaj speaks fluent Albanian as a result.2
She was discovered by Elite Model Management after becoming a semi finalist in the Elite Model Look Yugoslavia 2001 and topping the Elite Model Look Contest 2001. In the same year, she signed a contact with Elite Model Management.1 She resided in Yugoslavia until the age of seventeen, and then returned to the United States. Since her debut, she has posed in advertisements for brands Dolce & Gabbana, Bergdorf Goodman, Dooney & Bourke, Etro, Versace, Emanuel Ungaro, Blumarine, Jean Paul Gaultier, Bottega Veneta, Iceberg, Mango, Extè, H&M, and Just Cavalli.
She has also walked the runway for brands such as Gucci, Versace, Hermès, Carolina Herrera Christian Dior, Diane von Fürstenberg, Michael Kors, Giorgio Armani, Gianfranco Ferré, Louis Vuitton, Missoni, Moschino, Oscar de la Renta, Paco Rabanne, John Galliano, Fendi, Karl Lagerfeld, Valentino, Yves Saint Laurent, Chanel.
Cunmulaj is managed in New York City by Marilyn Model Management. She was previously married to Bekim Lulanji.1
