Claudette Ortiz (born July 21, 1981) is an American singer, most famous as the female in the R&B group City High1 although she has built somewhat of a name for herself as a solo artist.

Personal life
Ortiz was born in Willingboro, New Jersey to Puerto Rican parents. Throughout high school Ortiz dated future bandmate Robby Pardlo, who formed the group with Ortiz and Ryan Toby. Ryan Toby, former group mate, married Ortiz on October 14, 2004. They have 2 sons together. Their first son was born in 2003 and their second son was born in 2005. Her third child, a daughter (not fathered by Toby) was born on August 12, 2008.
Career
She was featured on Wyclef Jean's track "Dance Like This" on the Dirty Dancing: Havana Nights soundtrack, which was later remade by Shakira (as "Hips Don't Lie") in 2006. Other artists she has worked with include Nas, Ja Rule and rapper Mase. Ortiz also had an appearance on the "Jr's Dating Dilemma" episode of "My Wife and Kids" (ABC).
